NAU Student Philanthropy Scholarship

This fund is established to create a culture of philanthropy within the NAU student body. Each year current NAU Freshman, sophomores, and juniors will be solicited for gifts which will provide scholarships to upcoming students from those class levels.

  1. For Continuing Students (IF INCOMING FRESHMAN-TYPE N/A): Please provide a list of NAU on-campus involvement and activities including the names of supervisors, leaders, coaches, or advisors for each activity/group. If you are the leader or founder of the activity/group, then the contact information of an advisee must be supplied. On campus activities may include employment, participation in and positions held in student groups and organizations, athletic s, etc.
  2. For Incoming Freshman (IF CONTINUING STUDENT- TYPE N/A)- Please provide a list of high school/community involvement and activities including the names of supervisors, leaders, coaches, or advisors for each activity/group. If the student is the leader or founder of the activity/group, then the contact information of an advisee must be supplied. Activities may include participation in and positions held in student groups and organizations, community/church organizations, athletics, etc.
  3. Please provide an essay in response to the following prompt (250 words maximum): Define philanthropy in your own words and explain how you have demonstrated philanthropy in the past and how you plan on doing so here at NAU.
