David P. McElwain Health Professions Scholarship

The David P. McElwain Health Professions Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time, Junior or Senior health professions or nursing undergraduate student in the College of Health & Human Services. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is required. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and are expected to pursue a career in the health care field following graduation.
Criteria: Undergraduate majoring in an academic discipline within the NAU College of Health and Human Services.
Enrolled as full-time (12 semester hours or more) student.
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0=A) at time of selection.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be at the junior or senior level.
Following graduation from the NAU College of Health and Human Services, the student is expected to pursue a career in the field of health care.
Must display evidence of commitment to the health care field by either volunteer work or community involvement or similar contributions.
